Our Community Impact Partners (CIPs) are metaphorically speaking, the “hands” and “feet” of the Pietermaritzburg & District Community Chest. The needs within our community are diverse and great and in most instances, requiring specialised, professional responses.

Rather than attempt to be all things to all people, we recognise that within our community there are like-minded NPOs/CBOs (not-for-profit organisations; community-based organisations) with the requisite skills and geographic positioning to better respond to requests for assistance than we could on our own.

Community Impact Partners are thus identified, vetted and supported (with finances; other resources; skills-training; etc.) to deliver appropriate responses to identified/expressed needs in the community.
