The 17th Annual Kay Makan / Community Chest Race Day took place at the Scottsville Gold Circle Race Course on Sunday, 18th March 2007. All proceeds raised are for the benefit of the Welfare Organisations supported by the Chest. The Community Chest / Willowton Oil Charity Golf Day was held on 3 November 2006 at the Maritzburg Golf Club. This annual fundraising project was a huge success. BREAD DISTRIBUTION TO CHARITY

3500 loaves of Bread were distributed to (20) Welfare Organisations. This was made possible by Kay Makan who donated a loaf of bread to Charity for every DVD, Tape or CD sold at Kay Makan during the period 1 December 2005 to 31 January 2006. BENEFICIARY LAUNCH 2006

The Announcement of Allocations for 2006/2007 & the Presentation of Certificates to Chest Beneficiary was held on 28 March 2006 at Tatham Art Gallery. The Chief Guest at the function was the Deputy Mayor Cllr. Mervyn Dirks who presented the Certificates to all Beneficiaries. COMMUNITY CHEST GOLF DAY

The Community Chest Golf Day was held on 10 March 2006 at the Maritzburg Golf Club. The Golf Day was a success and an amount of R10 420 was raised. The funds raised from this event will benefit the 36 Welfare Organisations supported by the Community Chest.

The Council of the Chest and all Beneficiaries, would like to thank Kay Makan from Kay Makan on the Annual Organisation of the Race Day. The Race Day was held on 5 March 2006 at Scottsville Race Course and raised a record breaking R80 000, which will benefit the 39 Welfare Organisaitons supported by the Chest. COMMUNITY CHEST VALENTINE'S BALL

Muthu Murugan entertaining our guests at the Community Chest Valentine's Ball which was held on 11th February 2006 at Golden Horse Casino. The Valentine's Ball was a huge success with 300 guests having a great time!!
