Let’s run cancer outa town! AGAIN!
Another fun BulldahDash 2016 run,men came in their numbers from young to old. Running for a cause and for some in memory of a loved one lost to Cancer. Thank you to John Hall & his sterling team, Comrades Marathon for hosting the water station. Great fun had by all
The inaugural BALLduhDash!, a gentle four km run/walk or stroll around the streets and Alexandra Park, in honour, support and awareness of men’s cancers, sufferers/survivors took place per kind favour of PinkDrive/More Balls Than Most (MBTM) and Community Chest. The weather could not dampen the spirit of the participants, organisers and supporters as they sang the National Anthem with gusto and then set off to the blast of the air horn in the hands Community Chest Mascott Super M.
All the way round, volunteer marshals and motorists cheered and ogled the bare chested participants of all ages, shapes and sizes as each, for their own, reasons, wandered, alone in thought but gathered in spirit.
We are grateful for the support which made this event so successful and confirmed the model for the continuation and growth of the BALLduhDash! Because of all of you, 100% of all entry fees will be donated to MBTM to further their work in testing and promotion of awareness of the threat and dangers of men’s cancers. For more pics click here.
